Our Roots Tiny Roots is owned and operated by two mamas, Lauren & Lindsay, who are on a mission to impact the world through Fair Trade, quality clothing, and hand-painted designs. Tiny Roots is a bamboo clothing brand unlike any other, and we think you'll find that there is so much that sets Tiny Roots apart. We both wanted to be able to give back to different organizations, and have a passion for fair trade manufacture, outstanding quality, and distinguished prints. Being busy mamas, we knew it would be ideal to have a partner in entrepreneurship, thus the birth of Tiny Roots. At Tiny Roots, we are focused on creating high quality bamboo clothing for boys and girls. We look forward to bringing you styles that can be worn relaxing at home, or out and about on your daily adventures with your tiny ones. In addition to creating the highest quality bamboo children's clothing, we are committed to giving back to charitable organizations, and using Fair Trade Certified™ manufacturers to create every piece of clothing that we bring to you. We've worked tirelessly to find the right Fair Trade Certified™ manufacturers to create our distinguished bamboo clothing designs, and we know that it is worth the extra time and effort.
Our Artist Emily Drew Mash is a prolific artist, teacher and mother of three. Her work is part of the permanent collection of Wake Forest University. One of the things we are passionate about is bringing unique, beautiful prints to our customers so they can elevate their children's wardrobes. Using original artwork by Emily Drew Mash allows us to do just that. You can be sure that when you purchase bamboo clothing for your children from Tiny Roots, it has been lovingly hand painted by Emily, making our clothing authentic to the Tiny Roots brand. You won't find these hand painted designs, or our attention to detail, anywhere else but Tiny Roots.
People over Profits We started Tiny Roots to create the highest quality bamboo clothing that reflects our values. For that reason, all of our clothing is ethically produced using a Fair Trade Certified™ manufacturer in India. Our manufacturers use sustainable methods in creating every piece of our clothing, and provide all of their creators with a fair trade income. Your purchase of a Fair Trade Certified™ product from Tiny Roots means 2 things: 1. The factory that made your product adheres to rigorous social, environmental and economic standards to protect the health, safety, and improve workers livelihoods. 2. For every Fair Trade Certified™️ product sold, we pay an additional Premium directly back to the workers who made our goods. Our goal is to make an impact on the world by putting human lives ahead of profit, and Fair Trade allows us to see that goal come to life. We are proud to say that everyone involved in the creation of our clothing is paid a fair wage, so they are able to provide for themselves and their families.
Give Back x Tiny Roots When we started Tiny Roots, we not only wanted to give back to the world and be environmentally friendly but wanted to make a difference in our communities as well. For that reason, we have committed to donating 10% of the sales from one collection each launch to various causes that we hold near to our hearts. We will select a different charitable organization for each launch. Responsible Packaging for Clothing That Impacts Lives Tiny Roots is committed to making an impact, and in more ways than one. A large part of our mission is to implement and maintain responsible, sustainable packaging to help eliminate waste, and protect our earth. In order to accomplish this, we have made several changes to the way we package our products. We use cotton hang tags and our cornstarch garment bags are 100% biodegradable. As we learn and grow, we will remain committed to eco-friendly packaging, and look for ways to do more to help protect the earth in any way we can. We’ve joined Ana's Responsible Packaging Movement and are committing to eliminate single-use plastic and virgin forest fiber from our packaging, as well as excess packaging waste in our supply chain. To make a greater impact for the good of the planet, we can’t do this alone and believe as a collective we can better foster incredible change industry wide. We’re asking you, fellow brands, and our worldwide community to join us in adopting goals to eliminate excess packaging waste in a responsible, long-lasting way, and #ReshapePackaging together.
