Sometimes an incorrect or incomplete address is given to us. If we are able to get the box re-routed while in transit, there will be a $10.00 re-route fee. If we are unable to get the box re-routed while in transit, the carrier will return the box to us. We will then attempt to correct the mistaken address and re-ship it to the proper destination. There is a $15.00 re-route fee if an item is returned to us; we will need to re-charge shipping fees to ship it out again.
Butter Bug Boutique is not liable for damages during shipment. We package everything with caution, but on rare occasions a package will be damaged during shipment. If your package is damaged upon receipt; do not open, take a picture and report it to the carrier (Fed-Ex, UPS, USPS). The package is entirely insured.
- We maintain the right to refuse credit of any return or exchange that does not comply with our return policy. Please review the policy or contact customer service with any questions prior to shipping a return or exchange.
- The refund process is between 5-10 days, once Butter Bug Boutique has received your returned package.
Orders will be processed in the order they are received. Butter Bug Boutique strives to maintain a fast shipping rate of under 2 business days from the time the order has been placed. However, this may differ during high volume seasons and Holidays and includes all pre-ordered items. If you need to request overnight shipping, please contact us Before placing the order to ensure that your item will arrive on time. Once your item has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
- Shipping notifications are automated and controlled by USPS* Delays in shipping may occur with the carrier and is not a reflection of Butter Bug Boutique. If there are concerns with your tracking and/or shipment you will need to contact the carrier directly. Butter Bug Boutique reserves the right to not be liable or responsible for shipping issues, or damage that occurs during shipping, once the item has left us.
Returnable Items Items may be returned if:
- they are in new condition, i.e. HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED or WASHED
- have all the original tags attached, and in original packaging. Please make sure to return the item in the same condition you received it.
- The complete box must be returned, no separate items and in the original condition.
We will not accept returns that have not met these conditions. Return or exchange of your purchase must be received within 20 days of your purchase. Returns will be processed once the item(s) is received, given that all conditions have been met. You will be notified of your refund via email. If your items do not meet the requirements of exchange/return, you will be notified within 2 business days via email.
BUTTER BUG DOES NOT PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- You simply did not like the style/material of the item
- You decided you no longer need the item
- Any item that you have requested to launder cannot be returned. Items that HAVE BEEN WORN, ALTERED, ODORED or WASHED cannot be returned.
- All sale items or promo items are final.
You may exchange an item for a different size/style or print IF the item that you need is in stock AND your original item is returned to us in the same condition as it was received.
Shipping A Return Or Exchange
- To request for a return, please simply send us a return request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. ALL requests must be approved before returning an item.
- Only NEW items with tags and in original packaging are accepted for a return or exchange. Please make sure to return the item in the same manner you received it, new, and in original packaging.
- Please send the item you wish to return in a securely sealed package. Returns or exchanges should be sent pre-paid and insured by the customer.
- Butter Bug Boutique is not responsible for items lost once it leaves your hands.
- Returns must ship with a carrier who provides tracking and/or Delivery information (UPS, FEDEX or USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, USPS Express Mail).
- The refund process is between 2-5 days, once Butter Bug Boutique has received your returned package.

PRE-SALES & PRE-ORDERS
- Pre-sales and pre-orders are final sale and are non-refundable. Exchanges for store credit may apply only in the case of damaged items.
- Orders will be cancelled for unpaid balances (pre-orders) one week after we send the final reminder. Partial payment plans (codes) made on pre-orders and pre-sale orders will be forfeited should a customer not to pay the total amount of the order.
- Exchanges will be accepted only for sizing changes and will be based on product availability, and are not guaranteed.
